The Empire Township Museum is dedicated to telling and displaying the history of LeRoy and the township. It was created by the LeRoy Historical Society of the time, but in 2006 the society disbanded and the museum was closed. Thankfully, in 2008, it was re-opened thanks to the dedication and efforts of a group of community volunteers. The museum displays artifacts and other memorabilia relevant to LeRoy’s history, including items from local businesses, schools, and organizations. It also has a collaborative partnership with the LeRoy Community Unit School District #2.
